Who am I?

Hi, my name is Justin and I’m just a normal 3d printing nerd like you, well if I’m being honest I might be more nerdy than you because I’m also into programming and Linux, retro gaming, and chess just to name a few. By profession, I’m an engineer who builds and maintains web applications, pfft.. this portion of my life isn’t very interesting so I’ll skip it. Let’s talk about 3d printing and my experiences with 3d printing the reason you are here, when I first got to know about 3d printers my mind was blown. I was fascinated, excited, and also confused? that I can put a thin plastic wire into a machine and give it a 3d image that I want and voila that imagination is now a reality. At first, it may seem like magic creating items out of thin plastic wires but in reality, it’s science and amazing engineering. The year was 2019 when I bought my first 3d printer can you guess which printer is it?…. and ….it’s the Creality Ender 3 base model. Even at that time, I knew very well that I was going to tinker and upgrade the Ender 3 more than actually using it for printing, and I was right just like I waste hours customizing my Linux laptop than actually using it. I’ve spent more time on how 3d printers work especially the Ender 3 than printing stuff.

Why did I create this website?

When I started out with 3d printing there was not much trustworthy and good-quality content around tutorials, troubleshooting guides, upgrade guides, and buying guides on 3d printing. And still, to this day I find it difficult to actually find quality content around a few topics on 3d printing and that is the reason why I create this website. With this website, I want to share my personal experiences and also the high-quality content that you need. I just want to help someone who is just like me and wants to get started with 3d printing but isn’t able to find good sources of information, or they just bought their first printer and something broke and need to find a solution to fix it, or they want to upgrade something in their printer and they need a guide on it. I want to create and provide the information that I was not able to get easily at that time. With my experience over the years with upgrading and changing parts of my 3d printer, and printing things that seemed impossible when I started out, I believe now, it’s my turn to return something to this wonderful community of 3d printing.
